Getting Started
Here is where the fun begins….once you learn how to shop with coupons and see the savings you will never shop the same again!
Each week we will list the local grocery and retail store matchups. Matchups are where advertised items are paired with coupons (store and/or manufactured). Here is how it works. You get the Sunday paper and pull out the ads. They will not be the same each week. Here is what to look for:
- Proctor and Gamble (PG)
- Red Plum (RP)
- SmartSource (SS)
- Target (T)
- Walgreens (WG)
Simply write the date on those items and put it aside. We will tell you when to cut those coupons to get the best deals. One of the secrets to couponing is that you can save MORE MONEY by waiting to use those coupons for when the store has a sale …and sometimes you can couple those manufacturer coupons with store coupons and save even MORE MONEY! Who doesn't like that?
Now…the paper is not the only source for coupons. Here is a complete list of the sources that we use.
